"This letter is for me. It is about myself. I was born in Niagara Falls, N.Y., on January 30th, 1965. I am Caucasian.
My journey while living at Liberty Manor has been a wonderful experience, and I am learning and using many new coping skills that I look forward to implementing back into my daily living. My family and children mean the world to me. I want my sobriety more than anything else in the world now. I also want the peace and happiness that follow becoming sober, not only for myself but for my family as well.
Upon moving on from Liberty Manor, I have big plans and dreams. I want to get my own place, go back to work, save up for a car, and purchase needs that didn’t matter while in addiction, and start going to NA meetings—maybe get involved with an art shop. I’ve been living off that experience again. Of course, I have a lot of catching up to do with my family and children that I missed out on. I look forward to getting back to the “me” I always was but lost sight of—that beautiful lady."
