"Given the suffering and death that have occurred during 2020, it is almost embarrassing for me to have to say that it was quite a happy year for me. I peacefully worked in my studio, kept my gallery as open and exciting as the rules allowed, and I loved the evenings by myself, something that doesn’t happen too often during normal times."
